Time to Grow Newsletter

Our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes at St. John’s Time to Grow Early Learning Center were filled with joyfulness and cheer this December! As we prepared for the Christmas season, we were so thankful that we are able to play and learn together! 

When you walk down our hallways, you will see glittery angles, festive Christmas trees, manger scenes, beautiful advent wreaths, and so many other fun art projects created by the children. You can hear laughter and singing, as children are found decorating Christmas trees, recreating the manger scene with toy nativities, and singing songs about Jesus’ birth. The best part though, is hearing the Christmas Bible story, retold by children! 

All classes enjoyed learning about the true Christmas story. Our sanctuary was filled with family and friends as we shared the message of Jesus’ birth! Actually, we celebrated with a big party, a birthday party, as the program theme this year was Someone has a Birthday! It is amazing to hear preschoolers tell the story of Christ’s birth! 

Our students and staff are so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful church and school, where we can learn about Jesus and tell about His great love EVERY DAY! The Christmas message is such an important and joyous one to share with everyone, and we certainly had fun doing that! Jesus was born to be our Savior and His birthday is something to certainly celebrate with enthusiasm! We pray that you had a wonderful Christmas season and that you too enjoyed celebrating Jesus’ Birthday!
