Academics

We are Committed to Equipping Lives on a Foundation of Faith

St. John’s offers a warm, caring environment with classrooms that are smaller than the public-school alternative.  With lower student to teacher ratios, our staff is enabled to forge deeper relationships with their students.  Our focus is always to provide excellence in academics within a safe, Christian environment.

Students in the lower grades have a dedicated classroom where they will have most courses taught by a single teacher. As students enter the 5th grade they are given the opportunity to move classrooms throughout the day to begin preparation for high school. Students at St. John’s also have teachers that specialize in the areas of Physical Education, Music, Choir, Computers, and Spanish.

St. John’s strives to likewise maintain a student to teacher ratio of 1:20 or less in the lower grade classrooms and also maintain low ratios in the upper grades. With smaller class sizes than public-school alternatives, children are not “lost in the numbers”.  Our staff have the opportunity to get to know every student in every grade at a personal level, giving students the opportunity to grow in every aspect of their life.

St. John’s has invested in providing excellent academic programs that prepare our students for success in high school and beyond.  We focus on developing the whole child through deep relationships in a caring, safe environment.  With smaller than average class sizes and student to teacher ratios, we can invest the time with your child to ensure that they reach their potential.
