Kendra Gilmore

Principal

Kendra was called to St. John’s in 2018 and serves as the Principal. She teaches junior high math and computer science classes. Her favorite aspect of working at St. John's is building relationships with students and their families to help them succeed. Kendra graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska in 2008, and received her Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and Design from Concordia University, Wisconsin in 2014. She taught 5th and 6th grade in both St. Charles, MO and Corcoran, MN for 10 years before receiving the call to be principal at St. John's. In 2018, she completed the SLED Program (School Leadership Development) through the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, and in 2021, she completed the Van Lunen Program (Executive Management Training for Principals in Christian Schools) through Calvin University. She and her husband, Josh, have three children - Addison, Caden, and Landon - who all attend St. John's. She loves spending time with her family. Some of her favorite hobbies include camping, traveling, reading, playing the piano, and coaching. kendra.gilmore@stjohns-chaska.org
