Each year a production is performed by the students, alternating which grades perform from year to year. During their elementary years at St. John’s, students will get multiple opportunities to perform. This year, the 5th-8th grade students entertained the audience at Mayer Lutheran High School on Thursday, April 4th with a performance of School House Rock Live! Jr. The hours that the students and Mrs. Julie Pallas, Director of Parrish Music, put in during the weeks prior to the performance most certainly paid off when they took the stage. The costuming and props, the choreography and conversations, all led to an evening full of laughs, enjoyment, and School House Rock tunes stuck in our heads. The students performed songs made famous by the Saturday morning cartoon series.
